Shawn was born in Florida and raised in the Northeastern plains of Colorado. He attended Nebraska Western College on a golf scholarship from 1986 to 1988. From there, he went to Ferris State University in Northern Michigan where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Professional Golf Management in 1993. He became a member of the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) in 1994. Shawn has been an integral part of luxury golf communities for the past 32 years. His career started as an Assistant Golf Professional. In 1990, he served a golf internship at The Desert Mountain Club in North Scottsdale. After graduating college, he returned to Desert Mountain and began his golf career and climb to Head Golf Pro, Director of Golf and General Manager at luxury developments around the Western United States. His involvements in high-end golf operations lead him to opportunities abroad, one of which was Loch Lomond World Invitational at Loch Lomond Golf Club, Scotland. Throughout his career, he has been blessed with the opportunity to meet countless, extraordinary and influential people, building lifelong relationships and friends. Through his personal real estate investments and years of close interactions with high-end clientele, Shawn believed a career in high-end luxury real estate would be a perfect fit. Shawn joined the Forest Highlands real estate team in 2007 and has maintained the top producing role in the community each year, accounting for over $300 million in sales. Shawn is consistently ranked in the top five among Northern Arizona real estate professionals for sales volume and highest average price per sale.
